Wow, 2015 flew by didn't it?! It's time to get ready for 2016, and as you all probably have picked up, we are obsessed with starting the year off with a planner. Of course, if you're going to lug your calendar around, you might as well carry it around in style. Target never fails with their super cute planners like this one from Sugar Paper. We like it because the planner is pretty big allowing us to write a lot into each day of the week. This one from Anthropologie is one of the best too because it is filled with inspirational words to get you through the year. Whichever planner you choose, make sure it is something you would enjoy looking at all year long!

Although Christmas is around the corner, there were just some items that we couldn't wait to purchase this month! Tis the season for warm clothes, holiday parties, and festive accessories for our homes. We figured, just because it's cold outside that doesn't mean our wardrobe has to suffer, so getting a cute beanie and/or faux fur vest definitely needed to make our December list. We've been invited to quite a few Ugly Sweater parties already and if you have had any trouble like us, an ugly sweater is not easy to find. But, luckily Wildfox has a selection of ugly sweaters and the best part is that they're cute enough to wear again! Our December Favorite Things list just wouldn't be complete without some fun home pieces to put us in the holiday mood. The nice holiday-scented candles from Bath & Body Works are great holiday mood-setters. Colorful shorts that'll {BRIGHTEN} everyone's day!

Summer's not over yet, so now is the time to wear all of your bright colored shorts!  If you didn't get to shop for bright colored shorts in the beginning of Summer, don't you fret, because they're all on sale now! A cute iPhone case is an absolute must! Shabby Chic

Shades of white with a feminine twist, shabby chic pieces add an element of coziness to your home.  We love the lace details and frilly edges that give this look character.  An antique iron bed is the perfect backdrop for the soft bedding, and a brick accent wall adds an unexpected modern touch.  Add a bold color accent, such as a pillow or throw, to lend an eclectic feel.  That bed looks pretty comfy, we feel right at home!

We picked our favorite shabby chic finds, such as this sweet bedding from Target.  To dress up the bed and add a fun layer, we love this heirloom throw from Anthropologie.  Since every bed needs lots of pillows, we like adding one with a pop of color, such as this selection from Urban Outfitters.  We just adore this simple yet pretty look!
