Sorority Favorite: The ClassPass

How are you doing on your New Year's Resolutions related to health & fitness? Well, if you're like the majority of the world, then you've probably fallen off a bit. Well, we have something that will get you back on track: The ClassPass.

The ClassPass is your cost effective way of trying out the best fitness classes in your area. How it works is you pay a monthly fee ranging from $100-$115 and you have the chance to take advantage of classes at certain ClassPass studios. The only rule is that you cannot go to the same studio more than three times. This is to ensure that you take advantage of all of the other gyms/studios. We love the ClassPass because it makes you accountable. When you sign up for a class, you're committing to attending that class. If you don't show up, you will actually get charged for missing the class. No one wants to lose money so it's a great way to stick to your commitment.

Sign up and let us know what you think!

New Year's Resolution 101

Deciding on your New Years resolution is a really big deal.  It might not seem like it, but if you really think about it, it's a commitment you're making for a whole year and you want to make sure that you're going to stick to it!  That's why we've decided to create a little 101 guide line for you guys when it comes to coming up with your New Years resolution for 2016!

1. Pick a resolution that really excites you!
You want to make sure that your end goal is something you're really looking forward to, so pick something that you really want and makes you giddy about it.  It's always a great idea to pick something that benefits you.

2. Build a troop
The biggest challenge is sticking with it!  That's 365 days that you have to keep up with your New Year's resolution, so it’s always nice to have a troop with you trying to accomplish the same resolution.  Be each other’s constant reminder to accomplishing your goal!

3. Create a master plan
Rather than just a mental note for your plan, actually make a master plan for the entire year on how you’re going to accomplish it the entire year. It always helps to write it down whether it’s a work out routine or what.

4. Be Realistic
Whether you’re creating your master plan or it’s your actual resolution, always remember to be realistic about it. Again, it’s a challenge so give yourself a little breather, don’t be too hard on yourself.

5. Keep your end goal in mind
Always keep your end goal in mind and try to create reminders all over the place to keep you going!

6. Don’t forget to reward yourself!
If/once you’ve accomplished your New Year’s resolution, REWARD YOURSELF!! You should be proud of it and you should always reward yourself. How you’re going to reward yourself once you’ve completed it is also a great motivator when deciding on a New Year’s resolution!

Happy New Year's, friends!  Thank you for a wonderful year!
